Yoga is for Everyone!

I first have met yoga in 2010, and I simply practised for the movement aspect of it. I fell in love and I knew back then that I'd like to teach. However, my path led me towards something different; I became a fully qualified Montessori teacher and I was working with children for the next 8 years.

I was 35 when I have got diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and it stopped me from sports of all kind. The swelling, the constant pain, the stiffness was giving me a hard time.

I found that period very frustrating and I felt helpless. Then I found yoga again and kept practising. When the opportunity arose to complete a 200 hr hot vinyasa teacher training I took my chance and did it. It was an amazing journey. Yoga taught me self-care, gentleness, acceptance, modification, and most of all patience.

I gave up Montessori and I am teaching yoga since. Living with a condition which puts a limitation on your movement every now and then is challenging, but yoga helped me to come so far I have probably never imagined.

Meeting new people and introducing them to yoga and their benefits is a privilege and I am very passionate about it. I love to show people what their body is able for and capable of.

Nikki has been practising various styles of yoga since 2007. The more she was into yoga, the more she wanted to know and to understand more about it so she decided to take a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta in 2011.

She was trained as a traditional Hatha yoga instructor but also loves the flow of Vinyasa and the power of Ashtanga

Anita is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and trained in Vipassana meditation.

I have always been a lover of movement, embracing almost every style of dance when I was younger, playing netball, hockey and dabbling in capoeira and gymnastics. In around 2008 I, quite literally, stumbled into my first yoga class, and lo and behold I loved it.

On a visit to Myanmar in 2013, I completed a Vipassana meditation course, intense but hugely impactful and I highly recommend the experience, they have centres all over the world. After some time travelling, I ended up in Brazil where I stayed for five years and where I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in Alignment based Vinyasa with a truly wonderful teacher, Mariana Muller.

I was introduced to yoga in my late teens due to scoliosis and found it to be hugely beneficial back then. The years passed on and I began a love affair with Bikram Yoga a decade ago.

I went on to do Bikram training in LA in 2012. I then began a regular vinyasa practice (which became my new love) I followed with the Barken Vinyasa training in Florida in 2014.

I then decided to supplement my knowledge with a core-based movement and I completed Pilates training with NTC in 2015. I had always wanted to travel to India and study yoga, so late 2015 I travelled to Kolkata in India and studied yoga therapy with Ghosh Yoga College. This indeed was a life-changing experience and solidified my belief in the healing powers of yoga.

In 2016, I travelled to the Mindful Academy in Spain completed a mindful yin yoga course. I am currently working towards my 500-hour teacher training with Amy Lppoliti of 90 monkeys.

I enjoy immensely guiding people through practice and assisting them in exploring the deepest part of themselves.
